Gabriel is currently performing two plays in repertory.
The Courier Plays — First Delivery
A play by Gabriel Rodriguez
A peculiar delivery guy living in a magical post-apocalyptic world arrives to make a delivery: A box, a song, and the story of one of his wild strange adventures.
In this first play in the series, The Courier tells the story of the time he snuck into a city under fascist occupation and delivered a vitally important envelope to a revolutionary group in the days before the group makes their final push to take back the city.
Runtime: 90 minutes | Content warning: Discussion of fascism, portrayal of political violence
Moss
A solo play by Gabriel Rodriguez
One year after the devastating attack that destroyed their home, a young member of a community of refugees reckons with the attempted erasure of their people and wrestles with their role as keeper of their culture's sacred stories.
Runtime: 75 minutes | Content warning: discussion of genocide, death of a parental figure, one brief non-detailed scene of an animal being killed and eaten
Moss has been performed in various living rooms, a backyard, a community room in an apartment building, with one disclosed location performance at World’s End Comics in Kingston, NY.
